イラストレーターのクリストファー・ラッシュは、《Rashka the Slayer》のイラストの担当を希望した。「私は《Baron Sengir》が良かったんだけど、すでに彼はとられてしまっていたので、彼を殺そうとしているキャラクターを描くことにしたんだ」とDuelist7号で説明している。
